How will your donation help The Aztec Hut?

Our ultimate goal is that ALL donations get turned into scholarships for deserving graduating seniors.  However, your donation first starts as seed money for our student store and our merchandising projects. This allows us to turn your donation into even more money generating even more scholarships! Your gift will keep giving over and over again.

What do students learn via your donation?

When you donate you are giving students the ability to continue running our charitable organization, The Aztec Hut.  This gives high school students the ability to experience how it is to be an entrepreneur and run a business as a team. We operate a school store, design our own merchandise to sell, and work at many schools events throughout the school year. 

How do you benefit?

First off, you are allowing students to get real life hands-on experience running a business that teaches responsibility and dedication, develops a strong work ethic, and instills a sense of grit and determination.  Can you imagine how ready for college or trade school these students will be after running a business for years? You are helping to build today's youth into strong leaders of tomorrow. We promise that this will make you feel good.

Secondly, we are technically organized exclusively for the educational and/or charitable purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code with an official public charity status of 509(a)(2). This status is an important one because it means you can consider your donation as a true charitable donation which is recognized by the IRS.  We will give a receipt for your generous donation that will satisfy IRS requirements as proof of your awesomeness and you can proudly show that receipt to your tax accountant.  Those accountants love these receipts!

The Aztec Hut desires to award BIG scholarships each school year and with your donation you can help a student pursue their post-high school dreams whether that be a university or trade school.
